Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny: The 2027 UCI Pump Track World Championships Track

HTracks is completing one of the most emblematic projects in its history in Haute-Savoie: the pumptrack that will host the 2027 UCI Pump Track World Championships.

Designed both for top-level competition and everyday riding, this new facility features three tracks, covering nearly 2,350 m² of riding surface and almost 600 metres of combined track length.

Three tracks, from beginners to international competition

The site was designed by the project design team, Bartas Architecture, led in particular by Léo Amouyal, and Lollier Ingénierie, with Samuel Lollier, with the aim of providing riders with a genuine progression pathway. Two tracks are dedicated to learning and developing skills, with layouts adapted to riders of all levels.

The competition track has already been tested by several high-level athletes during a riding session attended by representatives of the French Cycling Federation and the organising committee for the 2027 World Championships.

A collective project

The project was commissioned by the Haute-Savoie Departmental Council, with the involvement of the Town of Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny. HTracks would like to thank the town for the quality of our collaboration, its commitment and the care taken by its teams throughout the project.

The track layouts and profiles were refined with the expertise of HTracks, then approved by Alexis Calle on behalf of the French Cycling Federation, ensuring that the facility meets the requirements of an international-level competition.

Earthworks, precise shaping of the terrain and asphalt surfacing: six weeks of construction were required for our teams to transform the plans into fully rideable tracks, followed by an additional two weeks dedicated to landscaping.

At the same time, HTracks worked with Besson TP and Citeos on the site’s complementary infrastructure, including civil engineering works, utilities and lighting, all essential to creating a facility capable of hosting an international competition of this scale.

A facility built for the World Championships — and beyond

From 24 August to 5 September 2027, Haute-Savoie will host an exceptional sporting event: 20 UCI World Championships across 12 venues, with nearly 10,000 athletes expected and 281 world titles awarded over just 13 days of competition. Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny has been selected specifically to host the Pump Track events.

Located near the Karine Ruby secondary school and the existing skatepark, the new facility is designed to become a major riding destination for local residents and, more broadly, for riders from across the valley.

It is this ability to combine top-level sport, learning and everyday riding that gives the project its true meaning.

Thank You

HTracks would like to thank the Haute-Savoie Departmental Council and the Town of Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny for their trust.

We would particularly like to thank Christelle Choplin, Strategic and Innovative Projects Manager, for her trust, commitment and the quality of our collaboration throughout the project.

And of course, a huge thank you to our teams, who worked with passion throughout the project, both in the design office and on site.

The official inauguration of the site is scheduled for Saturday, 10 October 2026.
